NO RICE, NO LOVE is the new capsule collection created exclusively for YOOX, in occasion of St. Valentine’s 2017.
Eight jewellery pieces for her and for him: the recurring theme is rice, a characteristic trait of the designer’s latest creations. Bea has been fascinated by Asian culture since the very beginning and, especially, by its symbolism: in her capsule collection designed exclusively for YOOX, she chose rice as her main element, symbol of life and prosperity, which is the perfect St. Valentine’s message.
Earrings, necklace and rings for her, bracelet and cuff-links for him: the silver capsule collection reinterprets the heart, the classic symbol of love, with rice grains, playing with new shapes and styles such as the stackable rings and flowing rice earrings.
To celebrate St. Valentine’s Day in a unique way, Bea has also designed a pair of rose gold earrings, the one-of-a-kind piece of the collection.
“I’m enthusiastic and honored for the partnership with YOOX, one of the online stores that I appreciate the most for its curiosity and interest in developing exclusive collaborations with international designers and artists”, states Bea Bongiasca. “The opportunity of creating something unique and exclusive for YOOX has also given me, for the first time, the opportunity to speak to a male audience”.
The capsule collection NO RICE, LO LOVE will be sold exclusively on YOOX starting from mid-January 2017.

ENDLESS? Collection

From the fresh creativity of young Milanese designer Bea Bongiasca and the irreverent irony of Toiletpaper and its creators Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, comes the new jewellery capsule collection, Endless?
The ten piece collection, available in silver, gold plated or with colored enamel, is proudly Made in Italy and made by hand. The pieces include earrings, necklaces, rings and a brooch and feature the writing “Why Me?” or “The End” on miniature tombstones, reminiscent of the iconic Toiletpaper images with the same theme. The unisex jewellery, which evokes historical ornamental references such as religious icon necklaces, chevalier rings and military dog tags, are made to be mixed and matched for extra impact.
Partly inspired by the medieval “Memento Mori” practice of reflection on mortality, but most of all a declaration of love, Endless? is a wonderfully eccentric and thoroughly twisted collection of symbolic jewellery which ingenuously reflects the iconoclastic creativity of Bongiasca and Toiletpaper.
The collection will be available at some of the world’s leading concept stores including Colette, Opening Ceremony and 10 Corso Como, as well as the Toiletpaper online shop.
